Typography is...
This project showcases to projects in one. Initially, I was required to create a 3-d piece of type that completed the sentence “Typography is...”, for which I created a book artwork, revealing the word ‘hidden’ from folded pages. I was then required to photography this and create a poster for theoretical design Exhibition held at UTS. The poster displays thoughtful typesetting, colour combinations and use of the grid.

Grid Design Philosophy Spread Design
A second year project that showcases my first attempt at editorial design as well as photography from a previous assignment. As the project revolved around my understanding of using a grid, I borrowed used a segment from Josef Muler Brockman's Grid Design Philosophy as the fill text. To present the spread, we were then required to mount it on board using adhesive jac paper.

Wassily Font
This font was very loosely based on details within the modernist artworks by Kandinsky. I honed in on certain features and repeated them throughout the alphabet to create a cohesive typeface.
